French at Manor Montessori

Casa & Elementary

At Manor Montessori, French is taught joyfully through stories, images, and songs. Casa students learn in small groups three times a week, while elementary students receive daily instruction and can join a French drama club. Graduates leave well prepared to enter Grade 4 French immersion with confidence.

  • Madame Valentina Trajani

    FRENCH TEACHER

With training in France and over 20 years of experience teaching at Manor Montessori, Valentina is committed to making the introduction to French fun and supportive for all her students.

Valentina teaches young students through stories, pictures and songs, making learning French seamless and fun.

  • Mademoiselle Océane Van den Berge

Océane joined Manor Montessori in September 2025. She was drawn to the Montessori approach for the way it allows children to learn at their own rhythm, honouring individual interests and development rather than a one-size-fits-all method.

Outside the classroom, Océane enjoys reading while listening to music, crocheting, dancing, and going on long bike rides. A quote that inspires her work with children is: “The primary task of education is to stir up life, but to leave it free to develop.”
